As a church we believe in the power of prayer and the call to prayer by our Lord. One of the main reasons we pray is because God has commanded us to pray. If we are obedient to His will, then prayer will be a part of our life in Him. Prayer is how we communicate with God. It allows us to corporately worship and praise the Lord, as well as offer confession of sin. This confession will lead to genuine repentance. Prayer also offers the opportunity to present our requests to God. Since we are communicating with God, our Creator, it is a time to speak to Him but, equally as important, it’s a time to listen to Him. He is a personal God who cares for us and wants to commune with us in prayer. We understand that your personal prayer time is very important. You’re not required to pray with others from the church body in a group setting, but we have seen the power of corporate prayer and the way God has used corporate prayer in our Church. So we would like to encourage you to join us in this!
