Kelsie was born and raised on Hilton Head Island. She has a deep love for the beauty and peace of the South Carolina coast and Lowcountry. She is so thankful for parents that were devoted to their Savior. By the age of seven, after being raised in the church and God’s Word Kelsie was, in her words, “in love with Jesus and eager to give my life to him. He was truly my dearest friend.”
She pursued another interest for a few years, knowing it wasn’t the goal of her life. Her parents were always involved in ministry, so it was very natural for her to accept the offer at a young age to join the staff at Grace, starting at the original location on Mathews Drive.
She met and married her husband, Michel, simultaneously, all at Grace Community Church. She considers it a gift to have been part of the ministry, loving so many in the family of God through the many seasons of her life and the church.
"So, let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith."
Galatians 6:9-10 (NLT)
